Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency holds fire-handling simulation towards 40 citizens in RW 02, Petamburan, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.
Johar Baru Citizens Trained to Handle Flames"Participants are RT chairpersons, karang taruna youth members and PKK members," expressed Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency's Tanah Abang Sector II Head, Achmad Sanjoyo, Monday (7/15).
Seven firemen are involved to train them how to put out fire using portable fire extinguisher (APAR) in the simulation.
"Our aim is to give understanding to them about fire hazards and how to deal with it," he explained.
It is hoped that they could play an active role in the prevention and control of fires in their respective environments.
